Available Programs

Union Park Little League offers recreational baseball and softball programs during both the Spring and Fall seasons each year.

We also offer an optional District Travel Ball program for players seeking a higher level of competition.

The programs listed below provide an overview of what is available. Final division placement is determined through player evaluations and applicable Little League regulations.

Recreational Baseball Programs

Union Park Little League offers a full range of recreational baseball divisions designed to support player development at every stage, from introductory levels through advanced youth play.

The age ranges listed below represent the most common placement ranges. Players may play up or down based on skill level, evaluations, and Little League International regulations.

  • T-Ball   (typically ages 4–7)
  • Coach Pitch   (typically ages 5–7)
  • Machine Pitch   (typically ages 6–8)
  • Hybrid Pitch   (Player and Machine Pitch, typically ages 7–8)
  • Minors   (typically ages 9–11)
  • Majors   (typically ages 11–12)
  • Intermediate (50/70)   (typically age 13)
  • Juniors   (typically ages 13–14)
  • Seniors   (typically ages 13–16)

Recreational baseball is offered during both the Spring and Fall seasons.

Recreational Softball Programs

Union Park Little League offers recreational softball programs designed to provide a positive, instructional environment for players at all experience levels.

Softball divisions are structured based on player evaluations, skill level, and applicable Little League International regulations.

  • Coach Pitch
  • Hybrid Pitch   (Coach Pitch and Player Pitch)
  • Minors
  • Majors
  • Juniors
  • Seniors

Recreational softball is offered during both the Spring and Fall seasons.

District Travel Ball

Union Park Little League offers an optional District Travel Ball program for players seeking a higher level of competition beyond the recreational league.

District Travel Ball is a supplemental program that runs alongside the recreational season. Participation in travel ball is optional and is not included with recreational registration.

Program Requirements

  • A tryout is required for all District Travel Ball teams
  • Additional fees apply if a player is selected
  • Participation in the Spring recreational season is required to participate in Spring District Travel Ball
  • Participation in travel ball is not required to remain in the recreational league

Current District Travel Baseball Offerings

  • 10U Baseball   (46/60 field dimensions)
  • 11U Baseball   (50/70 field dimensions)
  • 12U Baseball   (50/70 field dimensions)

District Travel Ball is not currently offered for softball.

Seasonal Participation Notes

Union Park Little League offers recreational baseball and softball programs during both the Spring and Fall seasons.

Players may participate in both recreational baseball or softball and District Travel Ball during the same season, provided eligibility requirements are met.

Participation in the Spring recreational season is required in order to participate in Spring District Travel Ball.

Participation in District Travel Ball is always optional and is not required to remain eligible for recreational league participation.

Final division placement for all programs is determined through player evaluations and applicable Little League International regulations.
