Fees and Refund Policy

Union Park Little League is a nonprofit, volunteer-run organization. Registration fees are used solely to operate the league and provide a safe, organized, and positive baseball and softball experience for all participants.

What Registration Fees Cover

Registration fees help offset the costs associated with operating the league. These costs include, but are not limited to:

  • Little League International chartering and insurance
  • Uniforms and team equipment
  • Field usage, maintenance, and preparation
  • Umpires, training, and safety programs
  • Administrative and operational expenses

Fees are set annually by the Board of Directors and may vary by division.

Financial Assistance

Union Park Little League believes that every child should have the opportunity to play, regardless of financial circumstances. Limited financial assistance may be available for families who qualify.

Requests for financial assistance are reviewed confidentially. Assistance decisions are made based on available resources and the specific needs of the family.

Refund Policy

Before Teams Are Formed

Refund requests submitted before teams are formed and uniforms are ordered may be eligible for a partial or full refund, less any nonrefundable processing or administrative fees.

After Teams Are Formed

Once teams are formed and uniforms are ordered, registration fees are generally nonrefundable. At this point, league expenses have already been incurred on behalf of the player.

After the Season Begins

Refunds are not issued after the season has begun, except in extraordinary circumstances approved by the Board of Directors.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Nonprofit and Volunteer-Run Organization

Union Park Little League operates as a nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All league officers, board members, managers, and coaches are volunteers.

No portion of registration fees is distributed for personal benefit. Funds are reinvested into league operations for the benefit of all participants.
