About Union Park Little League
Union Park Little League is a volunteer-run, nonprofit youth baseball and softball organization serving families in the Union Park
community and surrounding areas. We are chartered by Little League Baseball, Incorporated and operate in accordance with Little League
rules, regulations, and safety standards.

Who We Serve
Union Park Little League offers programs for a wide range of ages and skill levels in both baseball and softball.
Players are placed in divisions based on age, experience, and skill level. No prior baseball or softball experience is required.
League age is determined by Little League Baseball and may differ from a child’s school grade. Details are available on the

Seasons of Play
Spring Season
Our primary season, including regular season games and eligibility for All-Stars and postseason tournament play.
Fall Season
A developmental season focused on skill-building and player growth. Fall participation does not affect Spring placement.
Exact dates vary each year and are published on the Important Dates and Calendar page.
Practices and Games
- Teams generally practice one to two times per week, depending on division.
- Games are typically played on weekdays and or Saturdays.
- Most activities take place at Downey Park, with some games played at other district locations.

Player Assessments and Team Placement
Player assessments are conducted each season for applicable divisions to help ensure balanced teams and appropriate placement.
Assessments are not tryouts and are not used to exclude players.

All-Stars and Tournament Play
Union Park Little League participates in Little League All-Stars and may host or participate in additional league-approved tournaments.
Participation is optional and based on eligibility and selection criteria.

A Volunteer-Run Organization
Union Park Little League is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization run entirely by volunteers. Registration fees support uniforms, equipment,
field usage, insurance, and league operations. We rely on volunteers and sponsors to provide a quality experience for our players.

Governance and Affiliation
Union Park Little League operates under a charter granted annually by Little League Baseball, Incorporated. League operations are overseen
